workshop on methodology

The Workshop on methodology was organised by the Gordon Institute of Business Science at University of Pretoria (GIBS, UP) and held on 1-5 March 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Workshop, part of the activities of WP2, aimed at setting up the project methodological framework.

The focus was on:

• The definition of the glossary of terms on innovation and globalisation
• The setting up of the methodological framework
• The identification of a sample of firms and focal industry per country
